Incoterms explained
- EXW
- Ex Works — the buyer collects from the seller's premises and handles everything after.
- FOB
- Free On Board — the seller loads the goods onto the vessel at the named port; the buyer handles the sea freight onward.
- CIF
- Cost, Insurance and Freight — the seller pays sea freight and insurance to the destination port.
- DAP
- Delivered At Place — the seller delivers to a named place; the buyer handles import duties.
- DDP
- Delivered Duty Paid — the seller delivers to the buyer's door, duties paid.
